1984- The Female Perspective

April is Sikh Heritage Month- a time to celebrate over 130 years of Sikh contributions to the cultural, economic, and social landscape of this great nation.

Join us for an enlightening event as we reflect on 40 years since 1984 and listen to the stories of the Sikh genocide "A female perspective". This powerful gathering focuses on the incredible Sikh women who not only survived but also challenged India's oppression through their resilience and bravery during the 1984 Sikh genocide.

This event, in collaboration with the Sikh National Archives of Canada, also promises an exhibition of artifacts that chronicle the journey of Sikhs in Canada.
